Good News from SciFinder Scholar!

To assist with your budget planning, we are pleased to announce that there will be no SciFinder price increase for your institution in 2012.

Only SciFinder provides access to the world’s largest curated collection of information on disclosed chemistry and related research. In 2011, we improved the overall SciFinder experience with faster response times and productivity features and content enhancements, including:

  • Bioactivity and target indicators and relevance ranking to help you quickly find the substance information most relevant to your research.
  • Experimental procedure content to help you efficiently determine lab preparations and plan synthetic pathways.
  • Answer set sorting by number of citing references for easy access to historically influential papers and authors.
  • SciPlannerTM, an interactive workspace to plan your work and organize search results before heading to the lab.
  • SciFinder Mobile, a smartphone-optimized version of SciFinder that provides anytime, anyplace access to explore research topics, substances and more.
We also had another year of significant database growth. New content added to SciFinder in 2011 included more than

·         8.7 million substances.
·         8.6 million reactions.
·         1.3 million references.
